Inpatient Mental Health Program for Children - Goals & Activities

Like adults, children and adolescents can have mental health disorders that interfere with the way they think, act, and feel. And just like physical health, mental health is important at every stage of life. If your child or teen is depressed, has suicidal intentions, anxiety, hallucinations, paranoia, mood swings, or destructive anger, they may need additional support and treatment to help them get through this difficult time.

Our team includes licensed psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, licensed masters-level counselors/social workers, mental health technicians, occupational therapists, recreational therapists, registered nurses, case managers, and nutritionists who will work with you and your child to develop a personalized care plan in a safe, therapeutic environment.

This program provides treatment to children and adolescents ages 5 through 17 years who are experiencing acute mental health issues and need a higher level of inpatient care. Our team will work with your child to help them understand and cope with the source(s) of distress, guide them through the development of a personalized discharge plan, and help them to reach their highest level of physical, mental, social, and spiritual well-being. We are committed to preserving the integrity of both the patient and family while providing safe and therapeutic care.
